RICHMOND, Virginia–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Following a highly competitive search, Richmond Region Tourism has chosen Padilla as their marketing agency partner for an inspirational campaign to help grow the Richmond region’s economy by attracting visitors and providing great experiences for everyone.
Padilla runs an integrated marketing program to boost tourism in the Richmond area – as well as inspire people to live, work, play and create – for the economic benefit of the entire community. The campaign will be funded by American Rescue Plan Act funds disbursed to Richmond Region Tourism jurisdictions to spur tourism recovery. It will also showcase the region’s welcoming spirit and community commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Additionally, the campaign will create a halo effect to stimulate economic development and provide local businesses with assets that can be used beyond the tourism industry. The campaign committee included representatives from the Greater Richmond Partnership, ChamberRVA, Richmond Region Tourism and several of its jurisdictions.
