Destination BC launches spring marketing campaign in British Columbia and Alberta


Today, Destination BC is fully launched Explore British Columbia – Let’s do something together: a national seasonal marketing campaign urging residents of British Columbia and Alberta to plan and book a spring trip to British Columbia, while reconnecting with loved ones and doing something unforgettable, together.

Running until May 27, the campaign is designed to create a sense of urgency, highlighting the time-sensitive nature of spring experiences in British Columbia and encouraging travelers to experience new adventures as they explore the province with a fresh look, brighter days and reconnecting with the important people in their lives.

Leveraging a variety of tactics via TV, online, social media, billboards and articles, the campaign takes travelers from inspiration to booking, providing inspirational stories, travel planning, travel deals, booking assistance, and information on what people need to know before they go. – all while visiting

They will also find a list of ways to experience spring in British Columbia that will change perspectives and broaden horizons:

  2. Swirl, sip and savor spring in one of BC’s wine regions

Visitors can share photos and videos of their travels in British Columbia on social media using the hashtag #exploreBC.

The spring campaign will reach target market segments in British Columbia and Alberta to entice them to travel in the spring to aid in the immediate financial recovery of the hard-hit tourism sector. To further support BC’s tourism industry, Destination BC is also offering audience sharing opportunities, content suggestions, a campaign partner toolkit and reduced media rates for tourism partners. from all over the province.
